Although a bit underwhelming and buggy, it has something that kept me wanting to continue playing, continue exploring. I usually don't care about these type of games because of how these games are designed. This one is different. It has this charm to it which is something I can't described nor have felt in ages, especially what's currently out in the game industry. It felt new and fresh, even though it's just a 2D platformer. I think it has to do with the music and level design because although simple, has good design and challenge. Listening to the music is like a generic platformer-type music with originality. This is the definition of good old fun. Nothing complicated, but it has some challenge. We should have more of these games and this one should be explored more, I see potential. I hope anyway.

It's interesting, but there are so many things to improve like the controls, game design, and level design. It is interesting to see there are two different jump buttons, even though it could've been just one... Because of the unbalanced controls, the levels are much harder than they should be. The game isn't clear about the controls; I was stuck on the menu for a bit until I mashed my keyboard. One important thing to remember; underwater levels will never be fun to play.

It's a pretty addictive and fun game to play, though the controls feel janky. You should really support the WASD keys. The spawning of enemies is unpredictable and hard to kill, especially when you are being followed by a group of enemy ships while yours is auto-firing at one of them one at a time, making you vulnerable to damage when enemy ships spawn everywhere plus the movement speed of the ship. Yes, there are other ships you can play as but you have to unlock them by getting special ranks and I'm not too interested in playing as a janky ship.

Thanks for the review! I will consider supporting WASD for movement aswell as controller and touch control in the next updates!

Good game!

This game's visuals definitely do have an arcade look and feel, but the controls feel awkward to control; slow, and a bit clunky. Nothing really going on here, just a good old arcade-like game.

Neat demo. The fact it was made in under 48 hours is impressive for the amount of visual quality that is present here. Though one thing I can criticize is that it is too simple, at least for me anyway. This has a ton of opportunity and the gameplay be expanded on.

The demo's visual quality does not disappoint, the characters are creative and there is flavor in the VA. However, I wouldn't consider this a game but more of a movie due to the lengthy dialogue. I suggest you shorten the dialogue a bit and include more gameplay.

No. Not that name. You're not a snake, and I'm not an ocelot. We're men with names.
